Week 34 (Part 2): Maternity Photos

I've been noticing the trend nowadays is to document your pregnancy by taking maternity photos. The problem was Jon's trauma schedule has been so crazy..he leaves at like 5 am and comes back at like 9pm and sometimes works through the weekend on top of doing his research project that there was not a lot of time to squeeze this in. On top of his busy schedule, it's also wedding season so a lot of photographers are SUPER busy. What are the chances that we could find a date and photographer within a month?

I was hoping to schedule my shoot earlier (like late 20/early 30 weeks) cause who knew how freaking huge and uncomfortable I was going to get. Well, with marriage comes compromises. Jon only had time when I was 34 weeks so it was that or nothing. We booked Mimi Nguyen for our shoot and for some reason, I also wanted to make it a part boudoir shot. Looking back, I have no idea what I am going to do with those photos....hahaha oops. We shot photos in our nursery and Temescal Canyon. Here's a sneak peak!

I highly highly recommend Mimi! I jokingly told her I was going to book her for my sister's wedding.
