Week 31 (Part 2): Preggo Updates

Man, I can't believe I was on full bed rest from late Jan up until early May. Not that I'm not on bed rest anymore, there is just way more flexibility. those months seemed like such a blur, but I am soooo very thankful my cervix length [CL] stayed put, and that I did not have to be hospitalized for my bed rest.

I'm sure you guys have heard of the expression, "It takes a whole village to raise a child?"

In my case, it has also already taken a village and so many more...

1. Dr. Amersi, my OB, who I have been seeing pre-baby J. I was so proud of her when I saw her on TV. She was the OB for Erik & Nadine on Bravo's Newlyweds - The First Year. She is the exactly the same on and off camera.

2. Dr. Tabsh, my maternal and fetal medicine high risk pregnancy OB doctor. This doctor was the one who caught my short cervix without looking for it and who placed an emergency stitch for me.

3. Dr. Freeby, my endocrinologist. He has been monitoring my gestational diabetes.

4. Rose, my diabetic educator, who has been following me and making me track down everything I eat down to the carbs of each item!

5. Dr. Chen, our newly appointed family medicine doctor. She is young, kind, from the BAY!, and also a new mother. I think we will also be going with her as baby j's doctor. (Does anyone know the difference between having a pediatrician vs. a family doctor for a newborn??)

And this is just the medical related staff.

I can't forget all our family, friends, neighbors, and housekeeper who have helped us tiredlessly throughout this entire process. WE ARE FOREVER THANKFUL TO YOU ALL.
