IC stands for incompetent cervix or cervix insufficiency. What a funny name! Can you imagine if there was a term for guys called "incompetent sperm" or "incompetent penis"??
Thank you to the world of technology, internet, and wifi, I was able to find and join two private groups on Facebook with other women around the world who also have IC. Apparently, this happens in about 1 in 100 women so common enough. I've been reading all the posts (current and past), and the stories include both successful stories and stories with not so happy endings.
Being on bed rest, here are some things I am allowed to
-Three 10-15 minute walks a week
-No sexual activities
-No stairs
-No driving
-No exercising (Oh darn!)
-No sitting up
-No traveling
-No gourmet cooking
Alright, back to Netflix-ing..
