Once Jaxon got his first round of shots on Tuesday and we noticed that he didn't spit it out or have any side effects, we got the thumbs up to take Jaxon out of town. More like, take ME out of LA. I haven't been out of Southern Californiao since January and I don't think Bakersfield and the OC count (wouldn't you agree??) Puo Puo (Jaxon's maternal grandmama & my mama) had graciously already stayed with us for two months slaving away in the kitchen, helping us run errands and taking care of jax in the wee hours of the morning. She was ready to plan her escape back to the bay. However, she did not know that we were planning to come along!!
So on Wednesday, we (puo puo and me), poor hubby had to work the rest of the week decided to take Jaxon on his very first spontaneous road trip to Saratoga.

Overall, it was an easy and non-stressful trip for us. Jaxon slept pretty much the entire time, but if the car was going slower than 30 mph he started screaming. Next trip, La Jolla. See you soon San Diego <3
[Edit]: I got lazy, but
my sister / deputy's momma "yelled" at me for not giving deputy a shout out. Jaxon finally got to meet his dog cousin in person! Jaxon preferred to sleep than to play with his furry cousin. Deputy has a liking to males, but didn't seem to find Jaxon all that interesting. Maybe because Jaxon can't give him belly rubs yet.
