Week 37 (Part 1): Starting Physical Therapy

Can you imagine what your body feels like after having been on best rest for like 5 months where you can't exercise except take a measly 15 minute walk at most?

Well, my poor body has undergo quite a lot of changes these past 9 months. In addition to growing a brain and a penis inside me (hehehe)..my muscles have been so weakened. I've been getting a lot of pelvic pain pressure and swollen lower ligaments (they like doubled in size..so gross!). Fortunately, I haven't experienced other common side effects including heartburn or back pain. Maybe I can dodge those during this pregnancy. Anyways, my OB recommended me to start Physical Therapy at BEBE PT which I started today. I did not know much about PT..I thought it was just for people that were recovering from accidents (so naive of me, I know). The PT place I go to specializes in prenatal and postnatal care (so cool!) Man, it was amazing. I got a mini body diagnosis and a mini massage with some body exercises I can do at home. Can't wait to be back in two days.
