Weeks 1- 3: Yummmm

If you know me really well, I am not the biggest foodie, but I know what I love. I LOVE sashimi especially UNI (sea urchin). Sake (salmon) and Ikura (fish roe) come a close second. The best thing about being pregnant is that you don't really find out until the 4th-5th week mark so I was able to enjoy some Sugarfish Sushi in Santa Monica. I even enjoyed a glass of white wine :)

I began eating sushi since I could start talking. At the tender age of 5, I was ordering up raw fish and fish eggies at the sushi bar. By age 7, I was devouring uni and raw oysters. NOM NOM My tummy definitely could not handle all that raw goodies, but I was willing to risk it every single time.

Since I can't eat any sashimi or drink wine in the next 9 months, I will eat vicariously through all of you guys.
